My life as being a kid had embedded some deep core wounds that I had spent the most of my entire life at that point diving deeply into on the side of my hospitality career. And a chef’s job is not by far the most cohesive environment for healing.
I simply dreamed of being clear of the suffering. Hospitality was a vehicle to me to generate money, find out about the world & travel. On the side I would travel from your North of Australia in winter season, to the southern parts for the summers working on farms between. It absolutely was a continuous summer of finding people to learn different healing modalities & bodywork from, while doing work in idyllic locations like the wilderness of Tasmania in eco lodges, the deserts of Australia.
I set my 1975 4WD Land Rover Series 3 on top of solar panels, 3 batteries, and kitchen inside my trailer, and i also would go and do vision quests in the desert for 40 – two months asking questions in deep contemplative states to locate answers about life no-one have been in a position to help me with. I traveled ALL of that mighty land called Australia over 20 years doing work in some of the best restaurants around australia as well as the world.
I even worked in a fine dining restaurant within the desert which had been booked 2 weeks ahead of time & was the Sommelier selling wines up to Au$4400 per bottle! I mean, exactly what a ride. A few of the people who own these places inspired me incredibly and that i cannot thank them enough. One chef, Stefano de Pieri wasn’t even a qualified chef along with his very own T.V channel and one of the better restaurant on the planet. Mind blown I figured damn, you simply need passion in your life and motivation.

Our vision is to present our clean fresh vibrant living raw foods many have come to enjoy from our retreats, in a restaurant environment, support the growing healthy raw food community in Ubud which is the largest in the world per square meter & continue to educate & inspire our students from the training’s. The more I learnt about production of our foods, the more I realized how messed up things were. I took work with a chicken-processing farm for 6 weeks to truly see exactly what is happening. What did I learn? We are really disconnected to what is really happening. So when we see cuts of meat all cleaned and bleached in the supermarkets or shipped to our establishments, whatever we are missing and not connecting to is perhaps all the suffering that comes with it. And That I don’t just mean the animals, without a doubt that’s obvious. But the people who function in these places have severe mental illness. These are individuals who tend not to match society, cannot hold a conversation with “normal” folk. Cannot show up to work all dressed sharp while keeping it together. Nope, these people require our help.
